Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India issued notification inviting applications from male Indian citizens belonging to Border Districts.

Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India issued notification inviting applications from male Indian citizens belonging to Border Districts of Leh and Kargil of Jammu and Kashmir in the ITBP for filling up the unfilled vacancies of the year 2012 and 2013 in the post of Constable (General Duty) Group ‘C’, through Open Rally System. Interested and eligible candidates should report at the designated recruitment centre from 27 October 2014 till 31 October 2014 at 0600 hours for the concerned district with duly filled application form, Admit Card and Registration Slip.

District: Leh, Jammu & Kashmir.

District: Kargil, Jammu & Kashmir.

Venue for Pre-Training and Recruitment Rally: 5th Bn ITB Police, Choglamsar, Leh (J&K)

Vacancy details

1. Constable (General Duty) Group ‘C’: 544 candidates

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 per month.

Job location: anywhere in India and even abroad;

Vacancy description: unfilled vacancies of the year 2012 and 2013

Posts reserved for: male Indian citizens belonging to Border Districts of Leh and Kargil of Jammu and Kashmir.

Mode of Recruitment: through Open Rally System in the ITBP.

Eligibility Conditions

Age limit:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 23 years

(The candidate must be born between 01 August 1991 and 01 August 1996)

Maximum age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates and by 3 years for OBC-NCL category candidates.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or Class 10th pass.

Physical Standards:

Height: 165cm (for Gen/ SC and OBC- NCL category candidates)/ 162.5cm (for candidates belonging to ST category)

Chest (normal): 78cm (for Gen/ SC and OBC- NCL category candidates)/ 76cm (for candidates belonging to ST category)

Chest Expansion: Minimum expansion 5 cms

Weight: Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards prescribed by MHA.

Mode of Application and Selection: Interested and eligible candidates, belonging to Leh and Kargil Districts, should report at the designated recruitment centre from 27 October 2014 till 31 October 2014 at 0600 hours for the concerned district with duly filled application form, Admit Card and Registration Slip.
