Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400.

Eligibility Criterion

Agelimit: [as on 1 January 2014]

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 37 years

[Upper age limit for candidates belonging to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories is 40 years and for PH candidates is 39 years]

Educational qualifications: MD in Social and preventiveMedicine/Community Medicine;

Experience required: worked as a Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator or aSenior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching MedicalInstitution.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their filled in application forms, complete in all respects,along with the photo copy of the form and attested photo copies of relevant documents / certificates / mark-sheets / testimonials, by post to the Office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground, Srinagar/ ReshamGarh, Jammu so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 22 February 2014.

The form should be sentto the Secretary,  J&K Public Service Commission, ReshamGhar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu /to the Secretary,  J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar in the envelope provided by the Commission along with theApplication Form.

How to obtain application forms: Application Forms can be obtained from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, PoloGround, Srinagar/ReshamGhar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu by making cash payment of Rs. 500 (for General Category candidates) / Rs. 250 (for Category candidates) at thecounters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at PoloGround, Srinagar/ReshamGhar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu onall working days.

Processing charges of Rs.10 will have to be borne by all the candidates.

The Fee amount can also be paid in the shape of Bank Draft drawn from J&K Bank Limited only.
