Jharkhand Space Applications Centre (JSAC), Ranchi invited applications for recruitment to the post of Junior Scientist and Surveyor (Technical Assistant). The candidates eligible for the post can apply through online on or before 15 November 2014.

Total Number of posts: 5 Posts

Pay Scale

• Jr. Scientist: Rs.47000/- per month
• Surveyor (Technical Assistant): Rs.27000/- per month

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Jr. Scientist: B.Tech or B.E in Civil Engineering from recognized Institution/University, experienced candidates in the field of digital survey (DGPS/ ETS) will be preferred.
• Surveyor (Technical Assistant): ITI or Diploma or certificate in Surveying or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University with relevant work experience in the field of digital survey (DGPS/ ETS).

Age Limit

• Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 35 years as on 15 November 2014 for both posts.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Application fee:

• Candidates have to pay Demand Draft for Rs.500/- (for General) and Rs.300/- (for BC) in favour of Director, Jharkhand Space Applications Centre, payable at Ranchi.
• ST/ SC/PH candidates are exempted from application fee.

Selection Process

Selection process will be done on the basis of performance in Interview.

• After submission of online applications, candidates are required to take a printout of e-Application form and send it along with DD, copies of testimonials for proof of age, educational qualification, work experience, community, age relaxation etc at Jharkhand Space Application Center Dept. of Information Technology, Govt. of Jharkhand, Second Floor, Engineer's Hostel No. 1 Near Goal Chakkar, Dhurwa, Ranchi-834004 Jharkhand on or before 20 November 2014.
