The Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE), the State Skill Development Mission, under Department of Labour and Skills, Government of Kerala (GOK), invites applications from qualified and competent candidates for appointment to various posts on contract basis in Kerala State Institute of Design (KSID). Eligibility Criteria for Associate Faculty and Assistant Faculty Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- Associate Faculty (IT Integrated Communication Design): Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (min. 02 years program) in Communication Design (specialization in Film and Video/Photography/New Media Design/Interaction Design or experience design) from premier institutes like NID, IIT or institutions of national importance or Undergraduate Degree/Diploma (min. 04 years program) in Communication Design (specializing in Film and Video /Photography/New Media Design/Interaction Design or experience design) premier institutions like NID, IIT or institutions of national importance. Excellent Communication Skills. Min Eight (08) years of professional exp. in industry/academia/research in the area of Design. Age Limit: 54 years as on 01 June 2020.
- Assistant Faculty (Integrated Textile and Apparel Design): Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (min, 02 years program) in Textile Design from premier institutions like NID, NIFT or institutions of national importance or equivalent with core courses in textile Design or Undergraduate Degree/Diploma (min. 04 years program) in Textile Design from premier institutions like NID, NIFT or institutions of national importance or equivalent with core courses in Textile Design Should have excellent manual/digital textile visualization skills. Min. three (03) years of professional experience in industry/academia in the area of design. Age Limit: 54 years as on 01 June 2020.
