KCET 2014 Option Entry Available:
KCET 2014 Option Entry is now available for the candidates who have qualified in the Karnataka CET 2014 exam and have completed the verification of their documents at the help centres. Options entry allows candidates to fill in their preferences of branches and institutes for the engineering courses in Karnataka. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will provide training at the Helpline Centres to the candidates to familiarize them with the entry of options as per their choice. A mock allotment will be done prior to the actual one as per the entered options. The mock allotment is only to help the candidates to familiarize and show them the course and college allotted to them and it should be in no way presumed that the same seat and college will be allotted to them in the actual allotment of seats.
About The Exam:
Karnataka CET 2014 is the common entrance test which is organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority for the admissions in the graduate level engineering courses in the state of Karnataka.
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- They must have Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer-Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study.
- They must have attained 45% marks in aggregate in optional subjects to meet the KCET 2014 Eligibility Criteria.
- They must have fulfilled the Domicile Criteria as specified by the KEA authorities.
