Kerala Gramin Bank Notified Recruitment for 196 Officer & Office Assistant posts 2014

    Kerala Gramin Bank invited applications for the posts of Officers in Middle Management Scale II (Managers), Officers in Junior Management Scale I (Assistant Managers) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) Cadres from Indian citizens who have been declared qualified at the Online CWE for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/ October 2013.

    Kerala Gramin Bank is a Regional Rural Bank formed in Kerala amalgamating the existing two Gramin banks, namely North Malabar Gramin Bank and South Malabar Gramin Bank in 2013.

    Age limit

    • Officer Middle Management Scale II (Manager): Candidate’s age should be between 21-32 years as on 1 July 2013.
    • Officer Junior Management Scale I (Assistant Manager): Candidate’s age should be between 18-28 years as on 1 July 2013.
    • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Candidate’s age should be between 18-28 years as on 1 July 2013.
    • Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

    Educational Qualification

    • Officer Middle Management Scale II (Manager): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
    • Officer Junior Management Scale I (Assistant Manager): Bachelor Degree of a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Proficiency in Local Language and Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification.
    • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bachelor Degree of a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent, Proficiency in Local Language and Knowledge of Computer Skills.

    IBPS Score Card (CWE) Details:

    • Officer Middle Management Scale II (Manager): Candidates who have valid score card with 101 & above for SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD and 107 & above for OBC/ GEN/ OBC-PWD/ GEN-PWD are eligible for apply.
    • Officer Junior Management Scale I (Assistant Manager): Candidates who have valid score card with 95 & above for SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD and 98 & above for OBC/ GEN/ OBC-PWD/ GEN-PWD are eligible for apply.
    • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Candidates who have valid score card with 88 & above for SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD/ SC-EXS/ ST-EXS and 95 & above for OBC/ GEN/ OBC-PWD/ GEN-PWD/ OBC-EXS/ GEN-EXS are eligible for apply.

    Selection Process

    • Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs - Common Written Examination (CWE – II) conducted by IBPS in September/October 2013 and Personal Interview.
    • Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE – II of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

    How to Apply

    • Eligible candidates can apply through online application mode from Bank’s website www.keralagbank.com on or before 5 February 2014.
    • No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

    The Application printout along with the fee payment receipt and required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if shortlisted for Interview.
