Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Akola invited the candidates for the post of various profiles. The candidates eligible for the post can send their application in prescribed format by 08 August 2016.

Under Krishi Vigyan Kendra Recruitment 2016, out of total 03 posts, 01 post is allotted to Senior Scientist & Head, 01 post is allotted to Programme Assistant- Lab Technician and 01 post is allotted to Stenographer.

Eligibility for Senior Scientist & Head – (For Disciplines other than Engineering subject) Candidates must have doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years of experience in relevant subject Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/Rs.6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension as evidence by published work / innovations and impact.

(For engineering disciplines) Candidates must have doctoral degree in relevant Agricultural engineering subject with 6 years of experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39000 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/Rs.6000/ Rs.7000/Rs.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work/innovative and impact. OR

Candidates must have Master’s Degree in the relevant agricultural engineering subject with 10 years of experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39000 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/Rs.6000/ Rs.7000/Rs.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work/innovative and impact.

Eligibility for Programme Assistant- Lab Technician – Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Eligibility for Stenographer – Candidates must be Intermediate/PUC from the recognized State Board University & Knowledge of Computer. The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computers and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer.
