Educational Qualification

Senior Scientist and Head: The candidates must possess Engineering subject Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in relevant subject Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent position the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400 /Rs. 6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching/extension as evidence by published work / innovations and impact. For Engineering disciplines- Doctoral degree in relevant Agricultural engineering subject with 6 years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/Rs. 6000/Rs. 7000/Rs. 8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work/innovative and impact. SMS (Agronomy): The candidates must possess Master's degree in the Agronomy or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
SMS (Entomology): The candidates must possess Master's degree in the Entomology or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University
SMS (Horticulture): The candidates must possess Master's degree in Horticulture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University
SMS (Extension): The candidates must possess Master's degree in Agricultural Extension or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University
SMS (Home Science): The candidates must possess Master's degree in Home Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University
SMS (Animal Husbandry): The candidates must possess Master's degree in Animal Husbandry or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University
Programme Assistant (Soil Science): The candidates must possess Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University
Programme Assistant (Computer): The candidates must possess Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
Programme Assistant (Farm Manager): The candidates must possess Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University
Assistant: The candidates must possess Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with working knowledge of computers
Stenographer (Grade-III): The candidates must possess Intermediate/PUC from the recognized State Board University &Knowledge of Computer. Professional Efficiency: The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer.
Driver: The candidates must possess Matriculation pass qualification from a recognized Board. Possession of a valid and appropriate driving license from prescribed Govt. authority (the candidates will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate committee
Skilled Supporting Staff: The candidates must possess Matriculation pass or equivalent or ITI pass
Age Limit Senior Scientist: 45 Years
Age Limit Subject Matter Specialist and Programme Assistant:30 Years
Age Limit Assistant/Stenographer/Driver / Skilled Supporting Staff: 27 Years
