Lady Irwin College under University of Delhi invited applications for recruitment to 43 posts of Assistant Professor with 3 departments -- 13 disciplines in Home Science Department (36 posts), 2 disciplines in Education Department (6 posts) and to one post of Librarian. Pay Scale: PB-III of Rs.15600-39100 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000 plus usual allowance

Qualifications: Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale at the Master's Degree level in the relevant subject.

Candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC /CSIR or a similar test (SLET / SET) accredited by UGC.

Candidates who have been or are awarded Ph.D. degree incompliance of the University Grants Commission regulations 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET / SET / SLET.

Selection procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.

The applications for interview will be shortlisted by a screening committee as per the University guidelines.

Originals of all certificates / mark-sheets / testimonials, etc. have to be produced at the time of interview and at the time of joining, if selected.

Application Fees: Non-refundableapplication fee of Rs.250 (Rs.100 for SC / ST / PWD candidates) is to be paid in the form of a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Director, Lady Irwin College’.
