MAT May 2013: Exam Format and Pattern

MAT (Management Aptitude Test), a national level test is held to select prospective candidates for admission to Management programmes in various Business schools/ institutes.  The exam is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) four times in a year generally in February, May, September and December. MAT May 2013 (paper based) examination is to be held on 5 May 2013 and the computer based test will be carried out from 11 May 2013.
MAT is an objective test with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

The question paper comprises 200 questions equally divided into five sections:

1. Language Comprehension

2. Mathematical Skills

3. Data Analysis & Sufficiency

4. Intelligence & Critical Reasoning

5. Indian & Global Environment

Marking Scheme: For each correct answer one mark will be rewarded and one fourth marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Allotted Time: The total time allotted to solve the question paper is 150 minutes.
