Eligibility Criteria for MANIT Various Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

• Registrar- Masters’ degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute.
• Deputy Registrar- Masters’ degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute.
• Assistant Registrar- Masters’ degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute.
• Librarian- Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.
• Deputy Librarian- Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science / Documentation with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least 60% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
• Executive Engineer- First Class Degree or equivalent grade in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Communication) from a recognized University / Institute.
• Principal Technical Officer- B.E. / B.Tech. or M.Sc. / MCA Degree in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale or 60% marks) and consistently excellent academic record.
• Senior Technical Officer- B.E. / B.Tech. or M.Sc. / MCA Degree in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale or 60% marks) and consistently excellent academic record.
• Technical Officer- B.E. / B.Tech. or M.Sc. / MCA Degree in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale) and consistently excellent academic record.
• Superintending Engineer- First class degree or equivalent grade in Engineering in relevant field from a recognized University / Institute.
• Medical Officer- MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
• Security Officer- Bachelor degree from a recognized University / Institute which 5 years’ experience in Supervising position in Army / Central paramilitary Forces in Govt. organization / educational / Private organization.
• Junior engineer- First class Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record (Technical Assistant / Junior Engineer).
• Technical Assistant- First class Bachelor’s (Honours) Degree in Sciences in relevant subject or equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institute (Technical Assistant).
• Junior Assistant- B.Sc degree in relevant field from a recognized University/ Institute (Laboratory assistant).
• Work Assistant /Laboratory assistant- B.Sc. Degree in relevant field from a recognized University/Institute (Laboratory Assistant).

Age Limit:

• Registrar- Preferably Below 57 years
• Deputy Registrar- Preferably Below 45 years
• Assistant Registrar- Not exceeding 35 years
• Librarian- Preferably Below 55 years
• Deputy Librarian- Preferably Below 45 years; age bar relaxed for employees of NIT serving as Assistant Librarian
• Executive Engineer- Not exceeding 40 years
• Principal Technical Officer- Not exceeding 45 years
• Senior Technical Officer- Not exceeding 40 years
• Technical Officer- Not exceeding 35 years
• Superintending Engineer- Preferably Below 50 years
• Medical Officer- Not exceeding 35 years
• Security Officer- Not exceeding 35 years
• Junior engineer- Not exceeding 30 years
• Technical Assistant- Not exceeding 30 years
• Junior Assistant- Below 27 years
• Work Assistant /Laboratory assistant- Below 27 years
