Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL), Mumbai a Government of India Undertaking is India’s leading Shipbuilding Company with ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and a Schedule ‘A’ PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production, issued notification inviting online applications for recruitment to 25 posts of Senior Engineer (Ex-Navy). 1. Sr. Engineer (ex-Navy): 25 posts
Upper Age limit: 28 years
[The upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC/ ST and by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy layer) category candidates.] Qualification: Chief Petty Officer/ Master Chief Petty Officer and above in the relevant trade under Indian Navy/ Ex-Navy.
Experience: Minimum 12 years of post qualification experience in the relevant trade in the Indian Navy and should have held the rank of Chief Petty Officer / Master Chief Petty Officer and above.
At least 5 years afloat service onboard submarines.
A. Permanent vacancies: 13 posts

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.16400- 40500 per month
B. Contractual vacancies (on 2 years Contract, extendable by further 2 years): 12 posts

Salary (Consolidated): Rs.49270 per month (for 1st year) and Rs.51640 per month (for 2nd year)
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Personal Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview.
Candidates short-listed for Personal Interview shall be required to submit a print out of the Online Application Form at the time of Personal Interview. All original documents will also be checked at the time of interview.
Candidates short-listed for appointment will have to undergo a medical test conducted/ organized by the Company and certified by the Company’s Chief Medical Officer.
Candidates finally selected for the post applied for will be offered appointment. The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year and shall be confirmed in the post on successful completion of the probationary period.
Travel Allowance: Outstation candidates called for the Interview would be reimbursed 3rd AC Rail/ Luxury Bus by the shortest route.

Processing Fees: Processing fee of Rs.300 is to be paid through a crossed DD drawn in favour of ‘Mazagon Dock Limited’, payable at Mumbai.
SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.

Details of Fee DD have to be filled in the online application form.
On successful submission of the Application, the System will generate a unique Registration No. and also send a validation link to the candidates e-mail ID.
After validation of the email id, candidates should take two printouts of the Application Form using the Registration no. on or before the last date of application and retain a copy for future reference.
Candidates should send another print out of the application form quoting the registration number, along with fee DD
through Post/ Courier to “The AGM (HR-CR), Mazdock House, Mazagon Dock Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai – 400010” so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 12 December 2014 (1700 hrs).
