Pay Scale

• Rs.15600-39100 + GP Rs.6000 for Assistant Librarian.
• Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.5400 for Chief Security Officer.
• Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.3600 for Junior Engineer (Civil).
• Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.3200 for Hostel Supervisor.
• Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.2400 for DTP Operator.
• Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1900 + Rs.100 SP for Steno Typist (English).
• Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1900 for Lab Attendant.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification

• Assistant Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree and should qualify NET.
• Chief Security Officer: Commissioned Officer not below the rank of Captain of Indian Armed Forces or its equivalent in other Defence Forces, Good Physique and Medically Fit.
• Junior Engineer (Civil): 3 years National Certificate Course in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic or Institution or Mechanical Engineering.
• Hostel Supervisor: Graduation.
• DTP Operator: Graduation and proficiency in Computer Softwares.
• Steno Typist (English): Graduation or its equivalent.
• Assistant Registrar: Master Degree or its equivalent.
• Lab Attendant: BSc or BE or B.Tech.

Age Limit: Candidate age should be between 18-50 years as on 31 July 2014.

Application Fee

General& OBC candidates need to pay Rs.500/- (Rs.125/- for SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBP of Haryana State candidates only) for post no. 1, 2 & 7 and General& OBC candidates need to pay Rs.300/- (Rs.75/- for SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBP of Haryana State candidates only) for post no. 3 to 6 & 8 to 11 through Demand draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of screening test, Interview and work experience.

How to Apply

• Candidates have to apply in prescribed format which can be downloaded from the website or can be obtained from the office.
• Candidates can obtain the application form on cash payment of Rs.100/- at sale counter (Rs.25/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBP of Haryana State only) and Rs.130/- by Registered Post (Rs.55/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBP) by sending demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, M.D.U., Rohtak.
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with attested copies of all required Certificates / Documents, should be submitted to the Registrar, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak on or before 31 July 2014.
