This year, a total of 39 seats have been allocated under the NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2025-26, with 34 seats for Regional Offices (RO)/Technical Entities (TE) and 5 seats for the Head Office. Each Regional Office/TE will have only one seat available. Due to the law and order situation in Manipur, no applications will be sourced from this region.

The NABARD Student Internship Scheme offers numerous benefits to selected students, including:

• Travel Allowance: Reimbursement of travel expenses for field visits, subject to submission of valid receipts.
• Miscellaneous Expenses: Rs. 2,000 per head for incidental expenses.

• NBFCs Financing in rural areas – Coverage and Issues

NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2025 Stipend 

Students who are selected as NABARD interns will receive a stipend of Rs. 18,000 per month for the duration of the internship (ranging from 8 to 12 weeks). Selection Process for NABARD Internship

The selection of students for the NABARD SIS 2025-26 will be based on the following process:

• Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on a weighted score system, factoring in marks from their 10th, 12th, and undergraduate studies.
• Interview: Final selection will depend on the candidate’s performance in the interview.

Duration of Internship

The internship will last for a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks, and it must be completed between April 18, 2025, and August 31, 2025.
