National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. The Institute has progressively expanded its activities in various aspects of research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building & research programmes.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Research Scientist (scientist B): MBBS
• Research Associate: Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology or Virology or Molecular Biology and PhD in the relevant field with more than three years post doctoral research experience.
• Counselor (SRF): Master Degree in Social work or Sociology or Psychology or anthropology.
• Nurse (SRF): BSc Nursing (Indian Nursing Council Registration) or Nurse Midwife (Maharashtra Nursing Council Registration).
• Research Assistant (lab): MSc in life sciences or microbiology or health sciences & allied subjects.
• Data entry operator: Graduate with diploma in computer science.
• Lab attendant: H.S.C.
• Research Associate: Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology or Virology or Molecular Biology and PhD in the relevant field with more than three years postdoctoral Research experience.

Age Limit

• Candidate’s age should not exceed 35 years for Research Scientist (scientist B).
• Candidate’s age should not exceed 30 years Research Associate.
• Candidate’s age should not exceed 28 years for remaining posts.
