National Institute of Fashion Technology Notified Recruitment for 05 Various Posts 2014

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Gandhinagar invited applications for filling up the posts of Machine Mechanic, Junior Assistant & Library Assistant. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 15 July 2014.

1. Machine Mechanic: 01 (One).          
2. Junior Assistant: 03 (Three).            
3. Library Assistant: 01 (One).              

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• For Post 1 

(i) Passed 10+ 2 (Twelfth) from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.

(ii) Diploma or Certificate in Computer Applications Operations latest Software’sand Proficiency in computer Operations/ Applications with typing speed 30 wpm in Hindi / English.

• For Post 2 

(i) Graduate from a recognized University or Institution or its equivalent.

(ii) Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University or Institution or its equivalent with one year of experience.

• For Post 3 

(i) Diploma or Certificate in ITI as Fitter in the related areas from a recognized Board or University or Institution or its equivalent.

(ii) At least 03 (three) years of experience in the relevant field.

Age Limit (as on 30 June 2014)

Age Limit for the candidate should between 18 to 25 years (for post 1),21 to 30 years (for post 2) and 18 to 35 years (for post 3). Relaxation for the category candidate should be as per Govt. rules.

Application Fee 

Application Fee (Non- refundable) of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred only) for General and OBC Candidates and Rs. 250/- (Two Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ ST candidates in the form of Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque drawn in favour of “NIFT – Gandhinagar”, payable at Gandhinagar.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test followed by the Psychometric Test/ Skill Test/ Technical Test and finally thePersonal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
