NHM, Assam Recruitment 2016 for 104 Medical Officer & Other Posts

National Health Mission (NHM), Assam invited the candidates for Medical Officer & other posts on contractual basis. The candidates eligible for the post can apply online through NHM website by 12 August 2016.

Under NHM Recruitment 2016, out of total 104 posts, 93 posts are allotted to Medical Officer,    some posts are allotted to Specialist (O&G/ Pediatrician/ Anesthesiology/ General Surgery/ Medicine/ Radiologist/ Pathologist/ Psychiatrist/ ENT Surgeon/ Orthopedics/ Ophthalmologist/ Dermatologist/ Community Medicine), 04 posts are allotted to Specialist (Cardiologist/ General Medicine), 01 post is allotted to Assistant Engineer (Instrumentation), 02 posts are allotted to State Programme Manager, 01 post is allotted to Urban Health Consultant, 01 post is allotted to District Family Planning Coordinator and 02 posts are allotted to Stenographer.

Eligibility for Medical Officer – Candidates must have MBBS Degree from a recognized Medical College and Registered with Assam Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.

Eligibility for Specialist (O&G/ Pediatrician/ Anesthesiology/ General Surgery/ Medicine/ Radiologist/ Pathologist/ Psychiatrist/ ENT Surgeon/ Orthopedics/ Ophthalmologist/ Dermatologist/ Community Medicine) – Candidates must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in relevant field from a recognized Medical College and Registered with Assam Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.

Eligibility for Specialist (Cardiologist/ General Medicine) – Candidates must have MD (Medicine) or equivalent degree from a recognized Medical College and Registered with Medical Council of India (MCI) / Assam Medical Council (AMC) with desirable specialized training in Endocrinology or Cardiology and at least 2 years of experience of working as Specialist / Super specialist in a hospital will be preferred.

Eligibility for Assistant Engineer (Instrumentation) – Candidates must be B.E. in Instrumentation/ B.E. in Bio-Medical Engineering/ B.E. in Medical Electronics from recognized university/ institution of India with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks and having minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in the installation & maintenance of medical equipment and other related works with computer proficiency in MS Office.

Eligibility for State Programme Manager – Candidates must have done 2 Years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Health Management/ Public Health Management from a reputed institute/ university with minimum 5 years post qualification work experience in Public Health Management with experience in working for reform health systems and management of change in health sector.

Eligibility for Urban Health Consultant – Candidates must have done 2 Years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Health Management/ Public Health Management from a reputed institute/ university with minimum 5 years post qualification work experience in Public Health Management with experience in working for reform health systems and management of change in health sector.

Eligibility for District Family Planning Coordinator – Candidates must have Masters in Social Works (MSW) with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in the field of Community / Medical Health / Community development with computer proficiency in MS Office package (MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point) programme or related fields.

Eligibility for Stenographer – Candidates must be Graduate in any discipline along with diploma in Stenography in English from recognized Govt. Institution.
