Selection Procedure:
Written Test (Except for candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer and Trainee Officer (Finance)): The test can be given in Hindi or English. The duration of the test will be 3 hours and in three parts ie Part I of 140 multiple-choice questions in the concerned discipline, part II of 30 multiple-choice questions on General Awareness, and Part III of 30 multiple-choice questions on Reasoning.

Application Fee: No application fee will be charged from SC/ ST/ PWD candidates and the fee for General and OBC Candidate is Rs 250.

Service Agreement Bond: The selected candidates for the post of Trainee Engineer/ Officer of General and OBC category will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs 2.50 lakh and for SC/ ST 1.25 lakh to successfully complete a minimum period of four years of service in the NHPC Limited, including the period spent on training.

3. Candidates need to submit the application fee in State Bank of India in account number 31713133703 at CAG branch, New Delhi, on behalf of NHPC.
4. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a Unique Journal Number and a branch code of the bank collecting the money. This Journal Number and branch code are to be filled by the candidate during online registration.
5. Candidate should have a scanned copy of their passport size colour photograph and signature in JPEG format of not more than 50 KB size.
