NIFTEM Notified Recruitment to 17 Non- Teaching Posts 2015

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) invited application for recruitment to 17 Non- Teaching Posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 15 January 2015.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Controller of Examination: 1. A Post Graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its Equivalent grade. 2. At least 15 year of experience as Lecturer/Asst. Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. Or 3. Comparable experience in research establishments and other institutions of higher education. Or 4.       15 years of administrative experience out of which eight years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
2. Assistant Registrar: Master's Degree with atleast 55% marks or equivalent grade.
3. Private Secretary: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% or more marks from a recognized University and proficiency in English. Shorthand (English) speed of 100 w.p.m. and typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English on computer.
4. Personal Assistant: Graduate in any discipline with 50% or more marks from a recognized University and proficiency in English. 2. Shorthand (English) speed of 100 w.p.m. and typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English on computer.
5. Lab Incharge: M.Sc. in Food Science /Food Technology/ Food Science & Technology with 60% or more marks and at least three years relevant experience in Pay Band -1 : Rs. 5200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2800 in Government Organizations / Institutes/ Universities/Labs or in Industry/private sector on equivalent salary, with experience of working in a Food Science/Bio related Lab/Lab of any discipline of Science/Instrumentation and knowledge about laboratory operations.
6. Lab Technician: Three years diploma with 60% or more marks in Food process Engineering/ Food Engineering/Food Technology/ Food Science & Technology with three years relevant experience in Pay Band -1  Rs. 5200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400 in Government Organizations / Institutes/ Universities/Labs or equivalent salary in Industry/private sector with relevant working experience in  Food Science/Bio related Lab/Lab of any discipline of Science/Instrumentation.

Age limit

1. Controller of Examination: Upto 55 years
2. Assistant Registrar: Upto 40 years
3. Private Secretary: Upto 35 years
4. Personal Assistant: Upto 30 years
5. Lab Incharge: Upto 35 years
6. Lab Technician: Upto 30 years

Pay Scale

1. Controller of Examination: PB-4 Rs.37400- 67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 10000
2. Assistant Registrar: PB-3 Rs.15600- 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400
3. Private Secretary: PB-2 Rs.9300- 34800 + Grade Pay  Rs.4600
4. Personal Assistant: PB-2 Rs.9300- 34800 + Grade Pay  Rs.4200
5. Lab Incharge: PB-2 Rs.9300- 34800 + Grade Pay  Rs.4200
6. Lab Technician: PB-1 Rs.5200- 20200 + Grade Pay  Rs.2800
