NLC Recruitment 2024: The Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (NLC) has released the official notification for the engagement of graduate engineering apprentice trainees and technician apprentice trainees for the duration of 1 year. A total of 588 apprentices will be recruited, for whom the candidates should have a graduation degree or diploma from a recognised university or institution approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.

Steps to Apply Online for NLC Apprenticeship

As per the official notification, interested candidates first need to apply online and then send the application to the general manger of NLC India. Below are the steps to apply for the posts for the ease of candidates:

• Go to www.nlcindia.in.
• Click the CAREERS link to open the Careers page.
• Select the Trainees & Apprentices tab.
• Apply Online (Graduate & Technician Apprentices) Application link under Advt., No. L&DC/04/2024. (The link will be available from 10:00   on 09-12-2024 to 17:00 hours on 23-12-2024.)
• Complete the application form and take a printout of the registration form.
• The registration form, duly signed, should be submitted directly or by post to the office.

• Signed printout of the online application.
• SSLC/HSC Mark Sheet

NLC Apprenticeship Eligibility Criteria 2024

To be eligible for the announced vacancies of apprenticeship candidates, passed the qualifying exam in 2020 / 2021 / 2022 / 2023 / 2024. Other than this, candidates should be from the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhrapradesh, Telengana, Karnataka, and Kerala, and union territories of

Puducherry and Lakshadweep. The required educational qualification varies as per the category the candidate is applying for; check the list below.

Category 1 - Graduate Apprenticeship Training

Candidates should have done a degree in engineering (full time) in the respective discipline from a recognised university from the state government or central government.

For nursing graduates, BSc. Nursing granted by a statutory university/institution in the relevant discipline.

Category 2 - Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship Training

A diploma in engineering or technology (full-time) granted by a state council or the Department of Technical Education established by a state government in relevant disciplines

NLC Apprenticeship Salary 2024

The selected candidates will get a monthly stipend, which varies as per the category. Check the list below for students.

For Graduate Engineering Apprentice Trainee Selected candidates will get the stipend of Rs 15028 for BSc. (Nursing) candidates will get the stipend of Rs 12524.

Out of which Rs 4500/- will be paid by the government under the DBT scheme.

For Technician Apprentice Trainee, selected candidates will get Rs 12524, of which Rs 4000 will be paid by the government under the DBT scheme.
