Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Revenue Department is becoming transparent and corruption-free, the Punjab government has taken digital governance to new heights. Two key initiatives — Easy Registry and Easy Jamabandi — have now become the hallmark of Digital Punjab.
Introduced in May 2025 from Mohali, the Easy Registry service was rolled out to the entire state by August. With this platform, citizens are now able to register property online from home. Payments are done through online gateways, and the process is finished within 48 hours. Citizens can also take advantage of document collection services by calling the 1076 helpline.
Likewise, the Easy Jamabandi facility, which was introduced in June 2025, has been of huge relief to farmers and citizens at large. Citizens can now get free digital copies with QR codes and digital signatures in a matter of minutes through the easyjamabandi.punjab.gov.in portal or WhatsApp. Mutation (transfer) is now being done within 30 days.
99% of the village land records of the state are digitized now, and these are especially helpful services for farmers, senior citizens, and NRIs.
These services, the government informs, save the public more than ₹100 crore every year. "Digital transparency is true good governance," Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said.
Punjab has now become an e-governance model state where the era of bribe and delay is over.
