North Eastern Railway Notified Recruitment to 273 Group ‘D’ Posts Against Ex-servicemen Quota 2013

Railway Recruitment Cell, North Eastern Railway notified Recruitment to 590 Group ‘D’ Posts against Ex-servicemen Quota 2013, in Pay Band -1 of Rs 5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-. Interested yet eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format on or before 03 September 2013.

Last Date for Receipt of applications: 03 September 2013 & 18 September 2013 for residents of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and those residing abroad.

Eligibility Criteria
Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting 15 years of service and have passed Army Class -1 Certificate and Equivalent are eligible to apply for these posts.

Age Limit
• For UR candidates: 33 years + extent of Military Service + 3 years
• For SC/ST Candidates: 38 years + extent of Military Service + 3 years
• For OBC Candidates: 36 years + extent of Military Service + 3 years

Selection process
Selection will be done on the basis of Verification of Documents followed by a medical Test.
The names of candidates applied for the posts will be arranged in the order of merit on the basis of extent of military service and first 20% of them will be called for verification of original documents.
