Punjab Public Service Commission invited application for recruitment to Two Hundred & Fifty Six Posts of Medical Officers (General) in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Punjab. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 10 February 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 38 years of age as on 01 January 2014.

Educational Qualification

• M.B.B.S.
• Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India
• Knowledge of Punjabi Language of Matriculation Standard or its equivalent

Application and Examination Fee

• For SC/ ST of all States and BC of Punjab: Rs 1125/-
• Ex-Servicemen of Punjab: Rs 500/-
• All Others Categories (including Lineal Descendent of Ex-servicemen, Punjab): Rs. 3000/-
• Physically Handicapped, Punjab: Rs. 1750/-
