RailTel Corporation of India Ltd invited applications for recruitment of 93 various posts 2014. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 5 July 2014.

Railtel Corporation of India is a Government of India enterprise focusing on providing broadband and VPN services. It was formed in October 2000 with the objective of creating nation-wide broadband, telecom and multimedia network, to modernize Train Control Operation and Safety System of Indian Railways.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

BE/B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science or Electronics & Telecom Engineering, CCNP/JNCIP Certification Or Master of Computer Application, qualified GATE - 2014 in EC paper, MBA /PGDM/PGDBM/PGP in Marketing/Telecom/IT, CA/ICWA ICSI and Bachelor of Law.

Age Limit

• Candidate age should be between 21 to 34 years as on 14 June 2014 for post no. 1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 11 & 15.
• Candidate age should be between 21 to 30 years as on 14 June 2014 for post no. 4, 5, 8, 12 & 13.
• Candidate age should be between 21 to 40 years as on 14 June 2014 for post no. 6.
• Candidate age should be between 21 to 28 years as on 14 June 2014 for post no. 9 & 14.
• Candidate age should be between 21 to 37 years as on 5 July 2014 for post no. 16.
• Candidate age should be between 21 to 43 years as on 5 July 2014 for post no. 17.
• Candidate age should be between 21 to 39/42 years as on 5 July 2014 for post no. 18.

Application fee

General/OBC category Candidates need to pay Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PH) through payment gateway only during the on-line registration process for post no. 1 to 15 and through demand draft drawn in favour of ‘RailTel Corporation of India Limited’ payable at ‘Gurgaon’ or ‘Delhi’ for post no. 16 to 18.

Selection Process

Candidate will be selected on the basis of performance in written examination and interview.

• Candidates are required to apply on line through website (www.railtelindia.com) for post no. 1 to 15.
• No other means / mode of application will be accepted.
• For post no. 16 to 18 the candidates will have to apply in physical form and send their applications complete in all respect with all relevant self-attested documents and application processing fee by ordinary post to Joint General Manager (P&A), RailTel Corporation of India Limited, Plot no. 143, Sector-44, Gurgaon-122003 before 5 July 2014.
