Railway Recruitment Boards under Ministry of Railways, Government of India, issued centralized employment notification for filling up various Technicians vacancies in different Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), Zonal Railways and other Railway organizations.
Interested candidates can send in their applications in the prescribed format to the concerned RRBs /Zonal Office by 12 November 2012. Application should be sent directly to the respective RRBs / Zonal Offices:

How to deposit Examination Fee:
The non-refundable examination fee has to be paid in the form of a crossed Demand Draft drawn at the main branch of any of the Nationalized Banks, or in the form of Crossed IPO drawn in favour of “Chairman/ Member Secretary/Secretary/Assistant Secretary of Concerned Railway Recruitment Board”.
The DD/IPO should be valid for a period of 3 months and payable at the location where the concerned RRB is situated.
SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Physically Handicapped / Women / Minorities / Economically backward classes candidates having annual family income less than Rs. 50000 are exempted from payment of examination fees.
Selection Procedure:
Selection would be done through a Single Stage Written exam followed by certificates & candidature verification.
The date, time and venue of the written examination will be fixed by the RRB concerned and will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. There shall be negative marking in written examinations and 1/3 of the allotted marks to the question shall be deducted for wrong answer.
The Questions paper will be of objective type multiple choice and have questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Technical Ability for the post.
How to Apply:
Applications, in the prescribed format, complete in all respects along with required enclosures should be sent by ordinary post to the Assistant Secretary / Member Secretary of the concerned Railway Recruitment Board so as to reach the RRFB office on or before the closing date.
The applications can also be dropped in the box kept at the premises of concerned RRB offices, till 17.30 of the closing date.
The envelope containing the application should be clearly super-scribed “Application for the Post/s of ___________Category No. /s ________Centralized Employment Notice No. 05/2012 of RRB/ , Community (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM)”.
