Marksheets have been declared for RBI Assistant Preliminary exam 2016. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can now check their result at the official portal of RBI at rbi.org.in.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had organised preliminary examination for recruitment to Assistant post on 24 December 2016. Results have been declared for the same for all the regional offices. Candidates who have qualified the examination have now qualified for the main examination.
RBI had invited applications for Assistant recruitment against 610 vacancies. Applications were invited from eligible graduates till 28 November.
The Bank will follow strict selection procedure for the examination. Candidates will be selected through three-phase recruitment process viz. Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and Interview.
While results have been declared for the preliminary examination, candidates should now get a fair idea about the pattern of the main examination. Mains Examination will test the candidates Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. The RBI Mains exam will consist of 200 questions 01 mark each and will be of 02 hours duration.
There will be negative marking for both Preliminary and Mains examination, 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Candidates qualifying in both RBI Preliminary and RBI Mains Examination will be called for the interview before preparation of final merit list. Interview will carry a total of 25 marks.
