Reserve Bank of India Bhopal Notified Recruitment to the Post of Security Guard, 2013

The Reserve Bank of India was established on 1 April 1935 in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The Central Office, where the Governor sits and policies are formulated, of the Reserve Bank was initially established in Calcutta but was permanently moved to Mumbai in 1937.

Reserve Bank of India, Bhopal Office, issued notification inviting applications from eligible ex-servicemen for enlistment in the wait0list for 7 posts of Security Guards (Temporary) in Class IV cadre. As the vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen, as such, intending ex-servicemen candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions should send their applications in the prescribed format till 8 May 2013.

Educational Qualification  
Minimum: 10th Pass
Maximum: Under Graduation *
(Matriculate ex-servicemen with 15 years of Defence service are eligible to apply as ‘Graduates’).

Experience: Experience of handling arms and ammunitions in the military.
Note: The selection is confined to Ex-Servicemen with proper military background and having experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military.

Emoluments: Starting pay of Rs.6350 per month, in the scale of Rs.6350-220-7230-260–8010–300–8910–400–9710–500–11710-680-13750 (20 years) + allowances as admissible from time to time.

Presently, starting emoluments is approximately Rs.15138 per month.

Selection Procedure: Final selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.

Candidates found suitable, subject to the conditions laid down, will be placed on waitlist to be prepared subject to vacancy and reservation requirements.

How to Apply: Interested eligible ex-servicemen candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format along with photocopies of required certificates / testimonials by Ordinary Post to ‘The Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Human Resource Management Department, Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – 462 011’ so as to reach the said office on or before 8 May 2013.

Applications can also be deposited in the box kept at the 3 Reception of Reserve Bank of India’s Bhopal office on all working days till 8 May 2013 between 10.30 a.m. and 03.30 p.m.

On the envelope containing the application, candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of Security Guard.”

One envelope should contain one application of one candidate only.

Employees appointed in the Bank on or after 1 January 2012 will be governed by the defined contribution “New Pension Scheme”.
