Eligibility Criteria for Senior Resident (SR) and Other Posts

Educational Qualification:

  • Senior Resident (Anaesthesia): A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MD in the Anaesthesiologyor equivalent recognized qualification or 2 years Diploma in Anaesthesia from a recognised medical college with additional 1 year working experience in a teaching hospital/hospital of repute.
  • Senior Resident (Cardiology): A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MD in Internal Medicine/Paediatrics/Respiratory Medicineor equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Senior Resident( Cardiac Surgery/ Vascular Surgery/ Thoracic Surgery/ GI Surgery/ Urology): A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MS in General Surgery or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Senior Resident  (Gastroenterology/ Endocrinology/ Nephrology/ Pulmonology): A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act).  A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MD in Internal Medicine or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Senior Resident(Clinical Hematology):  A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MD in Internal Medicine/Paediatrics or equivalent recognized qualification or MD (Pathology) with 3 months special training in Clinical Haematology from a recognized institution.
  • Senior Residents(Radiology): A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MDinRadiology or equivalent recognized qualification or 2 years DMRD course in Radiology with 1 year working experience in a teaching hospital/hospital of repute.
  • Senior Resident (Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology): A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MD in the respective discipline or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Senior Resident (Pathology):  A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MD/MS in the respective discipline or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Senior Resident (Blood Bank): A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act).  A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MD in Pathology/Transfusion Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
  • Senior Resident(Critical Care): A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). A recognized Postgraduate degree i.e. MD in Anaestheiology or equivalent recognized qualification or 2 years Diploma in Anaesthesia from a recognised medical college with 1 year working experience in teaching hospital/hospital of repute.
  • Junior Resident:  A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act) or MBBS (including completion of internship) or equivalent foreign/Indian recognized qualification.

Age Limit

  • Senior Resident: Upto 40 years
  • Junior Resident : Upto 30 years

How to Apply for Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital Senior Resident (SR) and Other Posts 2017

Eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format and appear for the Walk-In-Interview along with the form and other relevant documents on 02 & 03 March 2017. Registration for the interview shall be between 10:00 AM to 12.00 Noon. The venue of interview will be The Administrative Block No.7, Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, Tahirpur, Delhi.
