It is to remind candidates that Rajasthan Subordinate Ministerial Service Selection Board (RSMSSB) had scheduled the main exam for Patwari post on 10 July. However due to a stay order by the SC, the examination was postponed. Finally the Board has decided to conduct the examination on 24 December.
Preliminary exam result for Patwari post was announced on 17 March. After the completion of online application intake the preliminary exam was held on 13 February. RSMSSB is conducting the recruitment process for selecting candidates against 4400 patwari post.
In the preliminary exam result, cut off for OBC reserved category was higher than the general category. This initiated disturbance among the examinees and candidates challenged the preliminary exam result and filed a petition. The reason they cited that despite securing higher marks than their counterparts of reserved category, many candidates of OBC category could not qualify.
However regarding the forthcoming examination, the Board authorities have confirmed that following the order of Supreme Court, shortlisted candidates (who have qualified the preliminary examination) are eligible to appear for main examination. Shortlisted candidates of both (OBC & general) can appear for the coming exam on 24 December.
About RSMSSB Patwari Recruitment 2015: Rajasthan Subordinate Ministerial Service Selection Board (RSMSSB) had invited application for patwari post recruitment previous year. An overwhelming response was witnessed from aspirants as huge numbers of applications were received against 4400 vacancies.
Applications were invited from 12th pass candidates in the age group of 18-35 years. RSMSSB had stated that the selection procedure would be written exam and on merit basis. Applications for patwari post recruitment were invited till December 2015.
