SBI PO Result 2018 for Prelims: State Bank of India has released the result of SBI PO Result 2018 for Prelims on its official website sbi.co.in. Candidates can check their result at sbi.co.in through the career section. Through SBI PO Result 2018 for Prelims, the bank will shortlist the candidates for next round of the selection process to fill 2,000 vacancies of Probationary Officer.
Candidates who declared successfull in the SBI PO Result 2018 for Prelims, now, the SBI PO Main Exam 2018 will be conducted on 4 August 2018. The call letters will be uploaded on 20 July 2018.
Candidates who appeared for SBI PO Exam 2018 can get a brief idea about the expected cut-off here. As compared to the previous result, the overall SBI PO Result 2018 will be 20% to 30% higher than the previous year. In 2017, the candidates who qualified for main exam were approximately 20 times the total number of vacancies. This year, the number of the candidates will be 10 times of the number of total vacancies.
The SBI PO Prelims Exam 2018 was held on 1 July, 7 July and 8 of July 2018 at various centres across the country. The SBI PO exam was conducted through online mode. The SBI PO preliminary exam consisted of objective test for 100 Marks. The test was divided into three sections i.e. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability with separate timings minutes for each section. The duration of the preliminary exam was 1 hour.

Candidates who will qualify the SBI PO preliminary exam 2018 will be able to appear in the SBI PO Main Exam. The Main exam is scheduled to be held on 4 August 2018. The Main Exam of SBI PO 2018 will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the SBI PO Objective and Descriptive Tests will be conducted through online mode. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer only.
The objective test of SBI PO 2018 main exam will be of three hours duration, consisting of four major Sections carrying total 200 marks. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. The test will have 4 sections i.e. Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness and English language.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Exercises & Interview for SBI PO 2018 on the basis of aggregate Marks in SBI PO 2018 Main Exam.
The selected candidates will be designated as Probationary Officers and will be on probation for two years.
Candidates can check SBI PO Result 2018 on the official website of State Bank of India i.e. sbi.co.in. Candidates are required to navigate the career section and click on the SBI PO Prelims Result 2018. Then, they are required to mention all the required details including registration number, roll no., password etc and click on the submit button. The result will be displayed on the screen. Candidates can take a printout of the result for future reference.
