Ayurveda can also be called as a caring science. SGT University’s Faculty of Indian Medical System or Ayurveda, as is commonly known, is created with the objective of improving the health and bringing harmony in society.

The genesis of Ayurveda is Indian and it has become quite popular worldwide, specifically the west. The reasons are obvious. Ayurveda plays a vital role in promoting and preventing diseases, and helping people maintain their health, lifestyle, mental health with social and spiritual wellbeing.  An expert in Ayurveda is trained in spiritual, emotional, mental and physical wellbeing of an individual.

Keeping the aforesaid sentiments in mind, S.G.T University established the Faculty of Indian Medical System in the year 2015. The main objective behind setting up of this system is to create a holistic and healthy world. The college is spread across a sprawling campus of 2 acres. SGT University offers various diploma and undergraduate courses in Ayurveda such as Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery, Bachelor of Naturopathy and yogic sciences.
