Shipping Corporation of India Job Notification: Shipping Corporation of India invited applications for recruitment to Trainee Electrical Officer and Electrical Officer post. The candidates eligible for the post can apply in prescribed format on or before 20 February 2017.

| Electrical Officer | (a) Min. six months’ sailing experience as Electrical Officer. (b) (i) Retired Indian Navy personnel with B.E. /Diploma awarded by the Indian Navy, and has sailed as chief artificer (power side only ), and is in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate, or, (ii) Candidates with B.E/B.TECH/Diploma in Electrical and Electrical & Electronics, and in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate. (c) The age limit for the candidates for(A) (b) (i) will be maximum of 45 yrs and (A) (b) (ii) as 30 yrs on the date of interview. |
| Trainee Electrical Officer | (a) (i) Retired Indian Navy personnel with B.E. /Diploma awarded by the Indian Navy, and has sailed as chief artificer (power side only ), and is in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate, or, (ii) Candidates with B.E/B.TECH/Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics, and in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate, without sailing experience. Must be in a possession of valid Indian CDC, Passport, Pan Card, and INDOS No. Must have completed all required STCW-2010 courses including STSDSD from DGS approved institutes. ETO course certificate should be from Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) approved institute. (b) The age limit for the candidates for (B)(a) (i) is 45 yrs and (B) (a) (ii) & (iii) will be maximum of 30 yrs on the date of interview. |
