The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is a successor organization of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982 and was set up as a Society registered of Societies Act in 1860. It invites applications from eligible citizens of India for the post of Coaches.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
- Diploma in Coaching from NS NIS Patiala, SAI or from any other recognised Indian/ Foreign University OR
- Participation in Olympics/ Asian Games/ World Championship with certificate course in Coaching
Desirable Qualification
Bachelors in Physical Education (BPEd)
Age Limit: 30 years as on 1 August 2011
Pay Scale: Pay Band 2, Rs 9300- 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs 4200 along with other benefits and allowances
Application Fee: Interested candidates will have to pay along with his/ her application a non-refundable application fee of Rs 500. No fee will be charged from SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ Women candidates.
The fee needs to be paid by Demand Draft only in favour of ‘Secretary, Sports Authority of India' payable at New Delhi.
Selection Procedure: The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be called for interview at place to be intimated. The selection will be made on the basis of merit list prepared by the Selection Committee based on the Interview and practical demonstration.
