SSC CR Declared New Exam Schedule for recruitment against Advt CR-1/2015, Exam begins on 23 July

SSC CR has declared the OMR based examination schedule for the posts of Head Constable, Junior Store Keeper and Library Clerk mentioned in Advt CR-1/2015. The examination will be held on 23-24 July 2016.

Taking the decision of Government to dispense with interview for all Group ‘B’ non gazette and Group ‘C’ posts, the Commission has implemented alternative methods for recruitment to the posts mentioned in Advt CR-1/2015. The Commission had invited applications for the above mentioned against the advertisement through employment news dated 09-15 May 2015. Read more about Advt CR-1/2015 here

Explaining it further, the Commission has given the scheme of examination for different posts as per the educational qualification. For posts with matriculation as the qualification, the examination will comprise of 150 questions (totaling to 150 marks). The examination will be of 200 marks (200 questions) for posts with Senior Secondary as the qualification.

For posts with graduation in any subject and graduate/ postgraduate degree with specialization, the examination will be of 200 marks with 200 questions. If prescribed, skill tests will be conducted. Read more here
