Staff Selection Commission invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Junior Translators (CSOLS)/ Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices), Hindi Pradhyapak Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute and Senior/Junior Translators under Ministry of Defence.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 1 August 2011): Maximum 30 years. Relaxation as per rules laid by Central Government.
Application Fee: Rs 100 to be paid by General/ OBC candidates through CRFS only which are are available at counter of all the Departmental Post Offices of the Country. No fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD and women candidates.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination (400 marks) and interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Interview on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination. Candidates will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their aggregate marks in the Written Examination and Interview.
