State Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Lecturer cum Instructor & Assistant Lecturer cum Assistant Instructor. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 7 October 2013. State Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak is a Registered Society, and is an autonomous body under Department of Tourism, Govt. of Haryana. It is an addition to ‘Rohtak Educational Orbit’. The inauguration of the State institute of hotel management, Rohtak and Foundation laying of the hostel and staff accommodation was organized on 21 August 2012.

Age Limit

• Maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 35 years for Lecturer-cum-Instructor post as on 7 October 2013.
• Maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 30 years for Assistant Lecturer cum Assistant Instructor post as on 7 October 2013.
• Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

 Educational Qualification

• Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration/Hotel Management after 12^th  from a recognized university and Full time Master’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration/Hotel Management with at least 60% marks in aggregate either in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• At least 5 years teaching experience in an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology / State Board of Technical Education / Recognized University and / or Hotel & Catering Industry for Lecturer cum Instructor post and at least 2 years industry experience for Assistant Lecturer cum Assistant Instructor post.

Pay Scale

• Lecturer-cum-Instructor(Food Production/Bakery): Rs. 9,300-34,800/- + GP Rs. 4,200/- per month
• Assistant Lecturer-cum- Assistant Instructor: Rs. 9,300-34,800/- + GP Rs. 3,300/- per month

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in interview.
