Territorial Army Recruitment of Officer 2011

The Territorial Army offers gainfully employed young men (only male candidates and Ex- servicemen) an opportunity of donning the uniform and serving the nation. The officers selected can serve the nation in two capacities- as a civilian and as a soldier.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Graduate from any recognised University.

Age Limit (as on 31 December 2011): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 42 years.

Employment: Gainfully employed in any Central Government/ Semi Government/ Private Firm/ Own Business.

Embodiment of Training

• One month basic training in the first year of commission
• Two months annual training camp every year including the first year
• Three months Post Commissioning training within fist two years at IMA Dehradun

How to Apply: All desirous civil candidates are required to obtain the form, from Employment Newspaper or download from http://indianarmy.nic.in/. Send this application form along with self addressed stamped envelope of 28 x 12 cm size, 2 passport sized photographs and postal stamps worth Rs 12 affixed on envelope to their respective TA Group Headquarters.
