The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) Rank List 2018 has been released by the Anna University on June 28 on the official website i.e., tnea.ac.in. The TNEA Rank List 2018 is prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in the qualifying examination or class 12. The marks secured by the registered candidates were reduced to 200 ((Mathematics – 100 marks, Physics + Chemistry – 100 marks). The Anna University doesn’t conduct any individual entrance test for admission to the engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. The TNEA counselling 2018 will be based on the rank list. The last date to submit application for TNEA 2018 was May 30. Students, who successfully submitted TNEA 2018 application from before the last date, have been assigned TNEA 2018 Random Number on June 5.
1. Visit the official website of TNEA 2018 i.e., tnea.ac.in.
2. Enter the user id (email address used while registration process) and date of birth in the provided space.
3. Click on the Login button after entering the captcha showing on the screen.
4. The rank secured by the candidates in TNEA Rank List 2018 will be display on the screen.
For such cases in which two or more candidates scored the same marks in TNEA Rank List 2018, the inter-se-merit of the candidates would be decided in a following order of priority
After submitting the TNEA Application Form 2018, a unique 10 digit random number has been assigned to the registered candidates. If all the tie breaking rules failed during the preparation of TNEA Rank List 2018, then TNEA Random Number will be used for resolving the conflicts.
Anna University conducts Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for admissions to various bachelor courses of engineering. This year, more than 1.5 lakh seats are offering to the candidates in different courses in around 560 engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. TNEA Counselling 2018 will be in online mode only including verification of documents.
