JEE Advanced is one of the toughest exams of India. It is the screening process conducted to give admission to 23 IITs of the country. Cracking this exam is the only way to get into Bachelor of Technology programs offered at the IITs. JEE Advanced exam pattern differs significantly from that of JEE Main. It is quite difficult and requires high level thinking.

Being methodical and disciplined is very important to crack JEE Advanced 2018 Examination. Establish definite goals to be achieved in a day, in a week, and in a month and stick to it. Analyze whether you achieved the goal or not before you go to bed. Make a time table and layout clearly what you need to achieve each day.

In JEE Main or JEE Advanced rote learning will not fetch you good scores. Focus more on understanding the topics rather than rotting. Solve as many tough numerical as you can related to the topic. CBSE students should emphasize on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) these days.
In JEE Advanced mostly questions are asked based on application of concepts and fundamental you have learnt. So, try to practice those questions which include real life problems. Practicing previous years’ questions will give you a good idea of what type of questions may be asked in the examination.
3. Practice Last 5 Years’ Question Papers:
Previous Years’ question papers help in knowing the difficulty level and type of questions asked in the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 Examination. Practicing these papers within time limit give you an idea of how to attempt actual paper. It also help in managing time. Practicing previous years’ question paper also help you to know where you are making mistakes. Practicing these papers will fuel your confidence for the actual examination.
4. Practice Sample Papers/Practice Papers: When you are finished with IIT JEE Advanced 2018 last 5 years’ question papers then start practicing as many sample papers and practice papers as you can. As your JEE Main Examination is over and you are done with fundamentals, now it is high time to take challenges. Study difficult topics when you are at your brightest and most alert and solve difficult problem when you are well-versed with the concept. Try to build suitable peer group for JEE Advanced preparation. Peer study groups provide constructive competition and keep you motivated. They have common goals and rather than being competitive just to prove a point, students end up helping each other hone their strengths and eliminate their weaknesses to reach a common goal.
7. Stay Healthy

A healthy mind with less distraction and continuously focused effort invites good luck to their lives. Exercise daily, Go for a walk, jump rope or play active sports for at least an hour a day to remain healthy. Also, drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Remember every event is controlled by nature and our surroundings. Good habits, disciplined behaviour, respect for elders, prayer to God etc do bring good luck, positive energy and sincerity.
