University Grants Commission (UGC) extended the last date of applying online for National Eligibility Test (NET) 2012 to be conducted on 30 December 2012. The last date for submitting online application now is 18 November 2012 for candidates who had already paid their NET fee through Bank Challan by 16 November 2012.

The test will be conducted to select candidates for Lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in their field of study.
