UGC conducts the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET/ JRF) for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship twice in every year in the month of June and December.

Candidates who are preparing for these banks and are interested in solving the question paper can practice the June 2011 paper and thereby further their preparation. The NET 2012 (Objective type) consisted of the following tests-
• Paper I General Paper (Teaching & Research Aptitude): 60 out of which 50 questions are to be attempted (50x2 = 100 in 1¼ Hours)
• Paper II (in concerned Subject): 50 questions all of which are compulsory (50x2 = 100 in1¼ Hours)
• Second III (in concerned Subject): 75 questions all of which are compulsory
