    UP Board Exam 2017 Delayed

This year, due to the UP assembly elections, the UP Board 10th Exam and UP Board Class 12 Exam both were delayed by almost a month. Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) had planned to conduct the exams February 16 and March 6, and the Class 12 exams to be conducted between February 16 and March 20. But the same were delayed to avoid a clash with the recently concluded assembly elections.

    Concerns over number of invigilators

As per recent media reports, concerns have been raised by many regarding the availability of the exam invigilators for the UP Board Exam. While the UP Board has assured students and parents that all preparations and facilities are in place for the smooth conduct of the board exams, many are still worried about the scarcity of invigilators. To alleviate these fears, the UPMSP has announced that only for Lucknow region, the board has appointed around 4,800 invigilators in 149 centres-19 government schools, 80 government-aided and 50 self-finance schools. Similar preparations are also in place in all other districts and regions across the state.
