UPPCS Prelim 2013: General Studies Paper I

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission conducted Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Preliminary Examination 2013 (UPPCS) on 26 June 2013. The examination was conducted for recruitment to Dy. Collector, Tehsildar, Accounts Officer & Other Posts. Around 46 percent candidates appeared in the exam which was conducted across 558 centers of 24 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

The Notification for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (General Recruitment) Examination 2013 and Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Physically handicapped (Backlog / Special Recruitment) Examination 2013 was issued by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), Allahabad on 23 March 2013.

The UPPCS Prelim Exam was conducted in two stages with two Papers: General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II. The nature of Question was Objective and Multiple choices with 150 questions in Paper I and 100 questions in Paper II. Both the Papers were of 200 Marks with the allotted time of two hours given to solve the Paper.
