Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Deputy Directors of Operations: Degree in Engineering in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics discipline OR Master degree in Science in the subjects of Electronics or Physics.
• Associate Professor (Arabic): Good academic record with a PhD degree in Arabic and Master Degree in Arabic or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
• Associate Professors (Physics): Good academic record with a PhD degree in Physics and Master Degree in Physics or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
• Senior Administrative Officers Grade-I: Graduation Degree.
• Senior Administrative Officers Grade-II: Graduation Degree.
• Assistant Directors Grade-II (Economic Investigation): Master degree in Economics.
• Station Officers: Degree preferably in science and Station Officer's Course of NFSC, Nagpur or Grade-I Fire "E" or equivalent.

Age limit

• Candidates upper age limit should not be exceed 50 years for post no. 1.
• Candidates upper age limit should not be exceed 45 years for post no. 2 & 3.
• Candidates upper age limit should not be exceed 40 years for post no. 4.
• Candidates upper age limit should not be exceed 35 years for post no. 5.
• Candidates upper age limit should not be exceed 30 years for post no. 6 & 7.

Application Fee

• Candidates have to pay fee of Rs. 25/- either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
• SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community are exempted from payment of fees.
• No "fee exemption" is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in interview.

• Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.upsconline.nic.in website on or before 15 January 2015.
• No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
• Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post and pay the fee for each post in the prescribed manner.
• After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), the candidates are required to take out a print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application before 16 January 2015.
• Candidates need not to submit to the Commission either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document. They will be required to bring along with them the printouts of their online applications and the documents if called for interview.
