About the Exam
Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is a state level engineering entrance examination conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University for admission to undergraduate and post graduate courses. This exam will be conducted for eleven papers (Paper 1 to Paper 11) with objective type questions except Part B of Paper 4 which is Drawing Aptitude test. Students can appear for Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 through offline mode (i.e., pen paper based or OMR based test). On the other hand, students can appear for Paper 5, Paper 6, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 9, Paper 10 and Paper 11 through online mode (i.e., Computer based test). The courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, MBA, MCA, MAM, B.Tech (LE), B.Pharm (LE) and MCA (LE) are offered through UPSEE 2018.

UPSEE 2018 was conducted on April 29, 2018 for Paper 1, 2, 3, and 4. AKTU has released the answer key for all sets of UPSEE 2018 in online mode. Candidates can check here how to download and file objections regarding answer key. Check here complete news.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will release UPSEE 2018 admit card by April 20 on their official website. To download the admit card students can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website i.e., upsee.nic.in
- Click on the link ‘Download Admit Card for UPSEE-2018 UG Candidates’.
- Enter the UPSEE 2018 application number, date of birth and password.
- Click on Login button to submit the asked details.
- The admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download/Take a print out of the same for future reference.
If the student is not able to download his/her admit card, he/she should contact the helpline as indicated on the website http://www.upsee.nic.in or send an email to the mail address upsee2018helpdesk@aktu.ac.in . The students can also contact the concerned authorities through the toll free number 1800-180-0161.
How to make correction in UPSEE 2018 Application Form:
The correction window for UPSEE 2018 is available now. The students who have already submitted their online application form for UPSEE 2018 can make correction in the application form wherever required before 5:00 pm till April 5, 2018. It is a one time opportunity, which will not be provided again.
Steps to make corrections in UPSEE 2018 application from are given below:
1. Go to the official website of UPSEE 2018 i.e., upsee.nic.in
2. Click on the link “UPSEE 2018 Form Correction For UG, MCA (Integrated) & MBA (Integrated) Courses”.
3. Enter the application number, password and security pin.
4. Click on the Login button to submit the asked details.
5. Thereafter, the students can make correction in the fields like Gender, Parent Domicile, Category, Subcategory, Choice of Examination Centre, Mobile Number, Email Address etc.. wherever required. But, the students can’t edit the fields like Name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, date of birth and Application number.
6. After updation, the candidates should take a printout of the Revised Confirmation Page for future reference.
Central Admission Board (CAB) has released a notice regarding some changes in the process of online submission of UPSEE 2018 Application Form. Students can find the fresh dates of of important events related to UPSEE 2018 given below:

Note: It is not mandatory for students to have Aadhaar card if they want to apply for UPSEE 2018.
How to apply for UPSEE 2018:
Students can apply for UPSEE 2018 through online mode only. UPTU/AKTU has started the application process from January 23, 2018. The last date to submit the application for UPSEE 2018 is March 15, 2018 (5:00 PM). Students can follow the steps given below to apply for UPSEE 2018.
1. Go to the official website i.e., https://upsee.nic.in or click here
2. Click on the button UPSEE 2018 Online Form Submission For UG, MCA(Integrated) & MBA (Integrated) Courses. Then, Click on the button Apply.
3. After reading all the instruction given on the page carefully and thereafter click on the button Click here to proceed.
4. Fill all the details given below very carefully.
(a) Personal details like Name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Date of birth, Gender, Parent Domicile, Nationality, Identity Type and Identity Card Number.
(b) Course and Exam city centre details like Apply For, Qualifying examination, Choices of exam city.
(c) Educations details like Pass Status, Course/Stream Name, Board/University, Passing year, Marks(%), Roll No./Enroll No., Institute name and address, pin code.
(d) Details related to courses applied for like seeking admission for, courses applied for, papers in which you want to appear.
(e) Communication details likes Address, City/Town/Village, State, District, Pin Code, Email Address and Mobile Number very carefully.
(f) Choose a suitable password, security question and its answer.
5. Enter the security pin and click on the Submit button. After clicking on the button Submit, you will get a Review Page.
6. Edit the application form data if required, otherwise check the check box before I Agree and click on the button Final Submit.
7. After clicking on the Final Submit button, you will get a confirmation page, click on Yes, Please Do button.
8. Uploading Documents - Now, candidates have to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
(i) Photograph has to be coloured passport size of dimension 3.5 × 4.5 cm and it should be more than 10 kb and less than 100 kb.
(ii) Signature has to be done by the candidate on white paper inside a box of dimension 3.5 × 1.5 cm. It should be more than 3 kb and less than 30 kb.
(iii) Left Thumb impression of the candidate is to be taken on a white paper of dimension 3.5 × 1.5 cm. It should not be more than 30 kb.
9. Fee Payment - Now, click on “Pay exam fee” link to pay the fees.
Choose the mode of payment: Credit/Debit Card or Internet Banking.
10. Download confirmation page - Candidate should download the confirmation page for future references.
Note: Candidates must keep their Aadhaar card number handy, as it is now mandatory to submit your Aadhaar Number in UPSEE Application Form 2018 and without the Aadhaar number the application form won’t be accepted.

UPSEE 2018 - Eligibility Criteria:
1. There is no age limit for admission to courses covered through UPSEE 2018.
2. Students who are going to appear in qualifying can also apply for UPSEE 2018.

UPSEE Application Fee 2018:
Students can submit the application fee while filling the application from through Credit/debit Card/ Net Banking.

UPSEE Syllabus 2018:
It is very important for students to know about the detailed syllabus of each subject before starting preparation for UPSEE 2018. Syllabus helps students in knowing the domain of their study. After knowing the latest updated syllabus students can start their preparation to crack UPSEE 2018. There are three subjects in Paper 1 of UPSEE 2018 i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students can check the subject-wise updated syllabus for UPSEE 2018.
UPSEE Admit Card 2018:
The candidates who have registered to appear for UPSEE 2018 can download the admit cards from April 20, 2018.It will be issued to candidates in online mode only and candidates can download their UPSEE admit card by login through their account. The candidates should carry this admit card issued to the exam centre as allotted to them as per their slot and exam schedule. The details regarding the exam centre, test schedule, paper as well as candidate will be mentioned on the admit card itself.
Candidates who have successfully registered for UPSEE 2018 will get notification for admit card availability on their registered mobile number and e-mail address. To download the admit card for UPSEE 2018, students can follow the steps given below:

- Enter the required details like application number, date of birth and password.

UPSEE 2018 – Exam City:
The exam city list for UPSE 2018 has been published by UPTU/AKTU along with the notification. UPSEE aspirants must check the exam city list before filling up the application form. Students can fill three choices of examination cities while filling the application form for UPSEE 2018. Students can appear for Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 of UPSEE 2018 in 41 cities of Uttar Pradesh and 8 cities outside of Uttar Pradesh. Minimum qualifying percentage for UPSEE 2018:
The minimum qualifying percentage is the minimum percentage determined by exam conducting authority basis which the candidates are considered qualified or non-qualified. For example, to qualify a board exam, a student needs to score at least 33% marks in aggregate.

UPSEE 2018 – Results:
The results of UPSEE 2018 will be announced in the first week of June, 2018. Candidates who will score as per the cut off marks will be termed as qualified. Candidates will be intimated about their UPSEE 2018 result on their registered mobile number and e-mail address so that they can login to check their result. The separate merit lists will be prepared for each course based on performance of the candidates in UPSEE-2018. Also, the merit position, score-card with total marks and marks obtained in each subject shall be available on website after the declaration of the result. Successful candidates shall be called for counseling according to their merit in UPSEE-2018.
