Department of Primary Education, Daman & Diu issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 159 posts of Primary / Upper Primary School Teachers on Contract basis. Interested candidates should send their applications within 15 days from the date of issue of the advertisement.

Age Limit: (as on 1 July 2013)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 30 years
Upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for SC / ST candidates.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ academic qualifications, their TET score, and work experience and their performance in the Personal Interview.
Short-listed candidates will be intimated about the date of the Interview in due course. The Interview will be held at the place for which the candidate has applied (Daman / Diu).
Candidates will be required to produce all original documents during Interview.
Selected candidates can be posted at / transferred to any school of Daman and Diu.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with attested copies of all relevant certificates / documents to ‘The Assistant Director of Education, District Panchayat , District Panchayat Campus, Dholar, Moti Daman-396220’ OR ‘The Education Officer, District Panchayat, Near Mamaltdar Office, Diu’ so as to reach either of the two offices within the prescribed last date.
Candidates should apply either at Daman or at Diu.
