Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree are exempted from NET. NET shall not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET is not conducted. Knowledge of Hindi language is must.
Age Limit: between 21 years and 35 years
(Age will be recommended as on 1 July 2011. Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for PH candidates and candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category and are residents of Uttarakhand state.)
Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Personal Interview.
Candidates should present all documents in original at the time of Interview for verification.
Fees: Non-refundable fees of Rs.130 (Rs.100 as Exam Fees + Rs. 30 as Postal Charges - for General category candidates) and Rs. 90 (Rs.60 as Exam Fee + Rs. 30 as Postal Charges - for SC / ST / PWD candidates of Uttarakhand) have to be paid through crossed Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Secretary, UKPSC, Haridwar payable at Haridwar.
Candidates must mention their name and address at the back on the Draft / IPO.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with fee DD / IPO and attested copies of required documents / certificates / testimonials to ‘The Secretary, UKPSC, Gurukul Kangadi,Haridwar-249404’ so as to reach the said office on or before 5 August 2013 (1800 hours). Along with the application, candidates are required to send two 23 cms x 10 cms envelope with their address, name of the post with subject and advertisement no written on it. On the envelope, containing the application, candidates should super-scribe ‘Name of the post, advertisement number and department number’.
Candidates can also submit the application in person by hand at the post counter in the Commission office.
One envelope should contain one application from one candidate only.
