Educational Qualification

• Veterinary Doctors: BVSC and AH from a recognised Institute/ University and should be registered with Uttarakhand Animal Medical Association
• Specialist Medical Officers
  a) Surgeon: MS (General Surgery)
  b) Ortho Surgeon: MS (Ortho/ D Ortho)
  c) ENT Surgeon: MS (ENT)/ DLO
  d) Eye Surgeon: MS (Ophthalmic)/ DOMS
  e) Physician: MD Medicine
  f) Anaesthetist: MD Anaesthesia/ DA
  g) Radiologist: MD Radiology/ DMRD
  h) Women Health Specialist: MS/ MD (Gynaecology/ Obstetrics)/ DGO
  i) Child Health Specialist: MD (Paediatrics)/ DCH
  j) Pathologist: MD (Pathology)/ DCP
  k) Cardiologist: MD (Medicine)/ Dip. Card
  l) Dermatologist: MD (Skin/ VD)/ DVD
  m) Chest Specialist: MD (Chest)/ Dip. Chest
  n) Psychiatrist: MD (Psychiatrist)

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011)

• Veterinary Doctors: Minimum 21 years; Maximum 35 years
• Specialist Medical Officers: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 40 years

Pay Scale: Rs 15600- 39100 + Grade Pay Rs 5400 (for both posts)

Application Fee: OMR Application forms can be obtained by paying application fees of Rs 130 for General and OBC category candidates and Rs 90 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates of Uttarakhand.

The application fee needs to be paid in the form of Bank DD/ Postal Order in favour of Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Haridwar payable at Haridwar. Candidates should written their name and address at the back side of DD/ IPO.
