Answer: India is the leading producer of tea. Not only in domestic market, but there is a large-scale consumption of Indian tea across the world. Therefore, all kinds of career options are available in tea industry starting from care and maintenance of tea gardens to professions such as management and exporters. A degree in BSc (Botany) or food science or horticulture could be very useful for entering into this field. Based on this, jobs can be found in different tea gardens, tea boards and tea exporter and vendor companies.
