A: The selection for Clerks in PNB will be through Written Test and/ or Interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms would not entitle a candidate to be called for Test or Interview. The Bank may call only the requisite number of candidates after preliminary screening/ short-listing with reference to the candidates’ qualifications, suitability, etc.
i) The Written Test will be held on Sunday, 19 June 2011.
ii) The Written Test will be Objective and Descriptive type. The questions in objective test Paper will be printed in bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi except for the Test of English. The written test will include Objective Tests of Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Marketing & Computer; and Descriptive Test in English Composition.
iii) Bank, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Pre examination training/ written test Centers and/ or add some other Centres, depending upon the response of the candidates, administrative feasibility, etc.
iv) The Candidates will have to appear for the written examination at the allotted Centre for the State for which he/ she has applied at their own expenses and risks and the Bank will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc of any nature.
v) No request for change of centre will be entertained.
The date of the test is tentative. The exact date will be communicated to the candidates through the call letters for the examination. The Bank reserves the right to cancel or make any change in the date/ centre of Pre examination training/test, if necessary.
